FiliGrid is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data necessary for the game to function.
🍪 Cookies We Use
For Players:
player_id - A randomly generated ID stored in your browser to track your game statistics and prevent duplicate plays of the same puzzle. This cookie is strictly necessary for the game to function.
For Oracle Accounts:
oracle_session - An authentication token used when you log in to manage your Oracle clues. Only set if you create an Oracle account and log in.
Security Verification:
- We use Cloudflare Turnstile on account creation and login pages to prevent automated abuse. Cloudflare may set temporary cookies for this purpose. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
📊 Data We Collect
Game Statistics:
- Your scores and which puzzles you've played (linked to your
player_id cookie)
- Which Oracle's clues you played with
- Date and board type (Alpha/Beta) of games played
Oracle Accounts (Optional):
- Oracle ID (your username)
- Display name
- Password (securely hashed with PBKDF2)
- Account recovery key (securely hashed)
- The clues you create for puzzles
🔒 How We Use Your Data
- Game functionality - To save your progress and show your statistics
- Oracle leaderboard - To rank Oracles by popularity and average player scores
- Default Oracle selection - To randomly select featured Oracles from the top performers
- Account security - To authenticate Oracle accounts

🗑️ Data Deletion
To delete your data:
- Player data - Clear your browser cookies to remove your
player_id
- Oracle account - Contact us to request account deletion (we'll remove all your data from our database)
